I thought mochi had to be pounded a lot? Maybe I'm mistaken. I haven't looked into it

the traditional way, yes. but if you just buy glutinous rice flour (shiratamako), you can actually make it using a microwave and just mixing it really well during steps.

you are very welcome! I've actually made it before. it is sticky and a bit messy (and well.. uh.. a lot of white stuff) but the result was very good. They just don't live long (too yummy)

@DeepFriedScream oops, sorry, got distracted! Yes, I got red bean paste (anko) from the store and strawberries, wrapped each strawberry in a thin layer of red bean paste and then wrapped mochi around
