Did you guys know that wirebugs are rad as hell actually?

Like I get why gameplay purists wouldnt want them, but these are actually so much fun

you playing Rise for the first time?

Wirebugs are great, but I personally have issues with wirefall mechanic, it took them till Sunbreak endgame to make it balanced

and I also don't really like cooldown based wirebug attacks, I'd personally rather have a buildable gauge

Yeah it feels a bit strong but I also notice that knockdowns feel a lot stronger than they did in world outside of wirefall

like hunter arts in MHGU

the issue is that till Sunbreak endgame monsters barely punish you for wirefall spam, it's safe almost all the time, yet in endgame you actually in a lot of cases better just lie down for iframes

I do kinda like the combat flow from having it be cooldown based, but I heard what youre saying

cause monsters go crazy on combos and you can wirefall into combo back to back

Ive been punished a few times for forgetting wirefall early game, but it does feel pretty strong when I remember its there

oh yeah, that happens alot in endgame

the issues with cooldowns is that by endgame there's a lot of skills that make ways to reduce cooldowns by a lot, making it a lot more spammy

and it kinda makes weapons become more of one trick pony, which isn't ideal

gauge doesn't really have that, because it builds with motion values you land instead of dmg numbers, so you can't really spam your anime unless you're actually hitting monster a lot

but it's just me rambling about end game

Rise is a great game, enjoy

I wanted more early/mid game monhun before wilds so I decided it was a good time to pick it up

honestly tho, Sunbreak is a must

it's easily the best part of the game

honestly base Rise is like 6/10 without it

I think Shaggy is a bit overrated

it's a fun fight, especially Risen, but vibes are... let's say vibes stayed in MH4

suppose because Wilds has more environment focus than even Worlds, so they also focus more on audio
