Died a bunch of times to Commander O'Niel trying to parry his attacks

Beat him first try when I just pulled out the greatshield and guard countered everything

Turns out the counter stance would duck right under half his swings

guard counters are honestly pretty nice

when I played base game I tried a lot to make them work without shield, but it wasn't a good experience

now with sekiro tear tho it's dum fun

When picking weapons I did realize the Greatsword has surprisingly good guard stats

Barely under the brass shield, though without 100% physical resistance

yeah, heavy weapons work somewhat well, tho for guard counters I'd prefer something like claymore, it looks more stylish

DLC also added that solitude GS, it has like 91% physical defense, pretty good for counters
