@galiaverse someone from niji en announced their G, and their thumbnail featured their character smiling with a hint of sadness with 5mph wind blowing thru their hair

when biboo did her karaoke thumbnail before, it had the white background thing but she called out that her hair is flat in it, and didn't have a 5mph wind blowing lol

Well Garo is a tokusatsu show... so similar to super sentai, kamen rider, etc.

tbh tho ive only seen clips of it from DmC and from my friends who are also within the Tokusatsu circle

Kaela started and ended stream while Biboo was still streaming. That's saying something.

But to be fair, it was a collab. Not sure Kronii has the endurance for that.

i mean... i only know of it cause clips shown from youtube and because one friend keeps telling me that i should watch Garo cause its the closes to DmC lol

Some how I managed to get decent sleep and still catch the later part of Biboo's epic Parry God ascension.

. . . Biboo would mostl likely crucify my ass for saying that.

The recent Power Rangers fighting game has a character voiced by Vergil's VA, and he even has lines that cheekily reference Vergil.

tbh i dont think biboo knows much of power rangers besides the obvious ones

I've been out of the Power Rangers/ Super Sentai loop ever since the very first PR movie so I dunnuh man.

I will say... Super Sentai is MUCH MUCH different than Power Rangers

There is the current Super Sentai airing right now called Gozyuger... which is called the No.1 Sentai

But yeah the longest I paid attention to Power Rangers was Zeo, and even then my attention waned (but I do have the Zeo Megazord as well)

I did recently watch that Isekai where a Red Sentai got transported. Was actually pretty good all things considered. Funny but also the makers clearly love sentai shows.

Oh yeah! It is definitely a love letter for Super Sentai. I also like how self aware it is from the outside's perspective while also making it interesting as well

Like how overkill it is to summon a megazord lol

or the jingles that keeps playing when fighting... which is kinda the trend with kamen rider as the henshin devices gets longer and longer (although it seems that its not as bad for the newer ones)

I unfortunately do not know Kamen Rider... But AH I do remember... Super Hero Cyber Squad (obviously repurposed Sentai show for America). I just liked all the destructible setpieces they had.

There was also Big Bad Beetleborgs, but I didn't care about that one.

I cant seem to find... only thing it showed was SSSS or Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad

Yeah, that's the image that appears in my mind. And now that I think of it there was also an anime that showed on Toonami with SSSS and involving a fabricated world... but not sure if same.

hmm... ultraman does have similar type of giants fighting giants fight. But most of them are like slice of life where the focus is on character or world building tbh

the newer ones like Z, Blazar or Arc are good introductions into the franchise if I were to recommend to newcomers

There is also Ultraman Nexus which is a more mature take on Ultraman. It doesnt go like the adult stuff but it does go dark
