I dont think collab begging is good idea, better let the girls decide for themselves.

Bijou might play split with Kaela, and, yeah, it is not a good idea to beg for collabs, Bijou won't approve that kind of behavior

begging is harassing a person over and over to do something. I made a comment that got highlighted by a mod or haachama herself. Theres no harm by putting something up for ppl to "vote" on.

no one has to like it and in the end its not forcing creators to do the thing. If Bijou won't approve of such behavior then ask her if its bad. Dont state Bijou wont approve that kind of behavior.

...Although parrying in TTYD has practically no flash compared to Ex-33. It has to FEEL good. TTYD parrying feels as flat and flimsy as its world.

idk if its just me but... everytime anyone plays a game that has a parry system in it they always react earlier rather than later when it comes to timing

its not something bad tbh since it is a first time experience... i just find that to be something that is consistent

like why do we react way earlier than it needs to be? why dont we react later instead? is it because of our immediate instinct to act instead of wait? is it related to our physical capabilities?

@Axcel TSX i think people reach early is cuz our brain thinks too quickly and parrying usually means getting very close to getting hit

React* early.

So our lizard brain makes us not want to get hit instead of waiting the tiny extra milliseconds to get the parry window

Found it curious she mentioned sound cues often. I was looking for visual cues to train myself on.

huh... I guess that makes sense. If we see danger we might react to defend ourselves like blocking for example. But parrying flips that by forcing us to time it till the last minute...

Also irl parrying doesn't actually work like that at least in sword fighting since you're mostly trying to move control the opponents sword...

also sound cues are sometimes implemented in parrying systems as well... although I prefer to use a combination of both or picking either one based on which one is easier to parry

my guess is biboo tries to see what works so she can get a feel of how the parrying works... like one of her ways to downloading the opponents moveset

I suppose... Since I haven't really played these parry-heavy games, I guess I should rely on her knowledge and intuition playing a part in the learning process.
