It was my first Dark Souls game, so it's special to me.

tbh i feel like the hate for dark souls 2 is a bit much

is it the best game in the series? eh not really... but its still a souls games that laid the foundation for elden ring

specifically the foundation to where instead of repeatedly going to the same wall over and over again... you can just go and explore other places and then come back to the same wall

basically allowing the players to choose when and where they want to go

honestly? dark souls 2 is probably one of the weakest out of the souls game... but thats still a pretty good praise considering it is compared to other fromsoft game

if we think of DS2 as a separate game then I think people wouldnt be as harsh...
