おつバウバウ! I thought for sure I never watched 2006 but I felt strong deja vu during some scenes. Maybe my brain was creating fake memories from the VN... By the way have you ever heard EFZ? It's a very cute (but old) fighting game with many characters from Kanon!

To explain the Makoto situation: Makoto Sawatari is a girl Yuichi had a crush on when he was little. He talked about her a lot while he was looking after the fox he rescued. That fox became human, and having heard so much about Makoto from Yuichi, the fox became Makoto

To be honest, for a while, I felt a bit gray and I didn‘t find things as fun as I used to, so I hadn‘t been watching anime. It was wonderful to rewatch Kanon with you and the ruffians after so many years, I loved both 2002 and 2006 but had forgotten most of the details!

Thank you for sharing this experience with us. I cried several times, both from the characters' arcs and from how real some scenes felt, and I'm very glad to have watched it. Watchalongs to cry along to are a nice treat (in a sense) to have every now and then for sure.

Hihi Fuuuuuwamoco~ What a rollercoaster! I enjoyed Kanon quite a lot more than I expected! I suppose good anime will always be good, I think you can see where different routes occurred that might have had more time to develop characters more in the VN. Still... Uguuuuu~

The nostalgic art style, the beautiful OST, LAST REGRETS, the rollercoaster of emotions, and the whole feel of winter (loved the snow and sunset backgrounds). Have lots of great memories with Key works, and you gave me one more . Mamono wo utsu FUWAMONO まものをうつフワモノ 魔物を打つフワモコ
